ÌRÈTÍ is a deeply emotional web series by Afrokids Academy that tells the story of a young girl named Ìrètí, whose life is shaped by her mother's courage and sacrifice. After facing rejection and separation from her own family due to tribal bigotry (between Yoruba & Igbo) and in-law conflict, Ìrètí’s mother is left to raise her daughter alone.

Despite the pain and poverty, her mother fights to give Ìrètí a better life, teaching her resilience, dignity, and hope. As Ìrètí grows, she begins to understand the weight of her mother’s struggles and the strength of her love.

Through touching storytelling, ÌRÈTÍ explores themes of identity, cultural division, family loyalty, and the enduring spirit of motherhood. It is a moving tale of perseverance, a reminder that even in the face of rejection and hatred, love and hope can still bloom.
